Hi, all.
This test was done 3.5 years ago by a primary care MD (it was negative). I
didn't know anything about CD then, but I've been doing some research more
recently and understand that a "complete blood panel" should be done for a
more accurate diagnosis. I understand that there are other tests for
specific deficiencies, CBC, and still others to rule out other things, but
in terms of the blood work specific to CD itself, can I hang my hat on this
one?
TISSUE TRANSGLUTAM AB IGA:
Result: 7 (negative)
Reference range:
Negative: <20
Weak Postive: 20-30
Strong Positive: >30
I did do some research in the list archives, but I'm sure most of you are
well past this stage by now!
Many thanks in advance,
Maggie
