I have an IPOD Shuffle and am very happy with the functionality of the unit 
itself.  Really no vision required to operate it.  However, ITunes is not 
accessible.  I have downloaded a "patch" for JAWS made by T and T 
Consulting, but this helps only marginally, and I am still not able to 
download files to it without sighted assistance, though this could be due to 
my ineptitude or lack of knowledge about how the patch works.  But I like to 
scan in books using Open Book, convert them to MP3 files using the "save to 
audio" feature within Open Book, and then put them on the Ipod.  Instant 
audio book.  That's mainly what I use it for.  You can probably put at least 
thirty hours of synthesized speech on the 1-gb shuffle, which is several 
lengthy books.  Overall I can't complain.  I'd be curious to hear if others 
use the shuffle or other MP3 players with halfway decent memory capacity.

Hi listers,
I'd like to know users' impressions of the Ipod Shuffle the screenless
model. Does anyone know of good reviews?
Then, noone has answered my question about the accessibility of File Maker
Pro using Jaws. Isn't anybody using or have
experience with this program?
