I think Cornwallis has summed up all the stuff in those philosophy books
very neatly with those five words. Now I don't have to read all that dry
old philosopy. Ruth

I was reading Kens enlightenment on these three philosophers when the mail
man came in ,
Now the mail men and women around here are a throw back to the pony express
rider so I decided to have a go at him and ask about Okkah Derrida ,and
Wegenstien and see what he knew about them
His name is Cornwallis, and so old Cornwallis thought about it , he stood
there for a moment and put his hand on his chin then his eyes got like he
had a revelation and in doing so went to the front door and let fly a
warm stream of bacca out into the mornings dust on the dirt road .
He returned wiping his chin, and informs me that he wasn't sure but He
thought they lived up where Ticky bend crosses Bullet hole road"
I laughed and he laughed too when I told him they were philosophers of
the last century, .
Then during the give and take of our conversation he told me that in
school he read a lot of philosophy ,couldn't remember all the names ,but
remembered many of the principals.
"Which ones I asked ? "Well there was Mr. Phidelius ,...he used to paddle
us if we were late "'
No --no Cornwallis I implored "The philosophers "
..Oh the philosophers . I can't remember names but I remember one central
piece of philosophy central to all of Humanity ' " Its help guide me "
"What's that ?"I asked half expecting something from Freud
Old Cornwallis thought about it so he could get it right ,then said
"I stink, therefore I am ".
I think he got it right...Happy new Year Py
