Hello All,
I know I have written several times about my son Ryan. He has had a tough
year health wise.
He was diagnosed with Celiac at 18 months old.
He will be 4 years old next month.
We have seen lots of doctors the last year and ran lots of tests and
bloodwork- hematologist, rheumatologist. GI doc
We jsut saw an immunologist who ran soem tests and he wants to rerun the
tests to make sure they are correct. But thinks ryan may have a
lymphoproliferative Disease. He seems to be producing a lot more immature
B-cells than he should be and has a decreased number of T-cells.
Like I said he wants to run the test again but may want us to see a
specialist in B-Cells.- Dr. Bleesing in Cinn.
Does anyone have any experience in thsi type of disease or have any other
info to share with me.
Ryan had a paraistie last year, was anemic this past fall, has had rashes
come and go and got a case of the bad flu in dec and was very sick and they
did a leukemia test- bone marrow aspirate which was negative.
He complains his legs hurt/ tired from time to time, is hungry ALL the
time, irritable and moody, sensitive to touch and cold. These symptoms
seem to go in a cycle. He's good for a while and then relapses.
I have lots of other lab values and reports to share with you if anyone
needs more info.
thanks,
suzanne
