I searched the archives and did not find reports on post surgery status.
I have a single 23mm gallstone. The gallbladder itself did not show
deterioration on the ultrasound. Gallbladder problems run in my family.

The recommendation is to have my gallbladder removed by laproscopic surgery
(4 small incisions). To have the gallstone lasered and the parts removed can
lead to more serious complications if all the bits of the gallstone are not
removed or it could grow again. Since I have had increasingly frequent
attacks, leaving it is not a recommended option. The surgery will be
scheduled to occur in the next couple of weeks.

My questions from those who have had this procedure are what were your
experiences:
post recovery: how long? , how much pain? , complications?
did your food sensitivities change?
did youi experience heartburn with some foods after you'd recovered?
any other experience you may feel is relevant?

I have been gf for 26 years. I am allergic to polyester, adhesives, many
antibiotics although I tolerate cipro.

Thanks for your assistance,
Barb
