This is another area we need expert help. I grew up with Bandeh as in
Lamin Bandeh or Cherno Bandeh just to start reading Baldeh at school.
Whether it is the Fula /Fulbe finding their own voice I do not know but
it is worth looking into.
BambaLaye you ask my Mandinka folk to pronounce CHEmistry or a
Banjulian to say TH. Thats another story.
