The next paragraph is a summary of the problems one of our group here in Florence, SC is experiencing. If any of you have sugestions or experience with these problems, please respond to me and I will forward them to her.

I have been on a gf diet for a little better than 2 years now. Right before I was diagnosed with celiac (the thing that made the dr.s take me seriously) my blood pressure went out the roof. I was put on 2 types of bp meds but the longer I was on a gf diet the less I needed and the dosage has been changed to only one bp med and the dosage on it has been lowered. I am currently on 80 mg of diovan. It is the only meds I take. After starting the gf diet I felt so much better. In fact I was so excited --- I had forgotten how good feeling good felt!!
But now I am so discouraged. I have been to the doctor several times and he has run a world of blood test. I check out quite healthy except I don't feel healthy. My eyes get tired and hurt frequently and I am almost always exhausted, weak feeling with my feet and wrist really hurting. I have only about 1/3 of my hair left and the brain fog makes a busy mom's schedule tricky. have talked with my dr and he doesn't know where to go from here except to offer me rogaine. I don't really want a band aide or more meds, I want to feel well again. My children need me. I have been following this web site for over a year now and it is amazing how much knowledge, and compassion is there. So I thought I would reach out and see if any of you have any advice or have experience any of this.

Best regards, Gladys Ward
