Hi All - Thanks to those who replied.  The following restaurants were 
recommended:
  Gopper's Pizza (makes a rice crust pizza)
  Outback
  Champs
  Nittany Lion Inn
  Penn Stater Conference Center
  Carnegie House
      I know I will be having one meal at The Tavern and have already spoken 
to them.  They said no problem handling food "allergies".  They do it all the 
time. They are also considering adding gluten-free beer to their menu!  Yeah!
