Sorry they didn't give you anything, Phil.  Guess it's just a real bad flu
or something they figured antibiotics wouldn't kill.  Glad you're getting
the cough medicine though.  I know what you mean about painful coughs;  I
had one a few years ago that caused my ribs to hurt.  Do you have anything
nice and warm and soothing to your throat you can drink?
