I like to think so Ronda. Or at least that is the understanding I am going
forward with.
Just like with the things mine and Terri's family did concerning us and
other people and children as we grew up and which we do not agree with and
which we intend to do differently with our child if possible, I just assess
a situation to see if it is right or wrong in what I have learned and go
forward from their.
We are responsible for the company we keep and in letting it affect us in a
negative way.
If you are standing at the bottom of a hill and suddenly a trucks starts
rolling from above toward you and your household, you assess the situation,
hopefully rather quickly and take the appropriate action.
When we are in a church situation or a bible studdy group or as we are here,
a christian email list and we are all reading from the same book, literally,
I see it as instructive when someone who just happens to be reading on a
topic I am talking about says, here's what the bible says about that Matt,
here's the chapter verse and book in which you will find it. Of course, as
I read more and more of the bible and become more knowledgable I suppose
that's where the disagreement over what the passages actually mean comes
into play.
Oh really, I took that to mean a b or c not d e or f.
I was reading more in first peater today and ran into some stuff which
sounded like what is going on with Sadam. It actually said the stuff about
evil doers and the like and I am sure Bush got that tirm from a religious
teaching to try and reach some people with the way he words things.
