Please continue to pray for the strength of soldiers all over the world, but
especially in Iraq, during the holidays. You may have heard about the
soldiers who were attacked in Iraq, then dragged from their disabled
vehicles, had their throats slit and their heads bashed in with cement
blocks. All by Iraqi teenagers. You can imagine what that does to other
soldiers in the unit having to deal with Iraqi people every day, including
teenagers. (It's the same type of thing that happened in Viet Nam where the
very children soldiers were feeding and playing with were those who attacked
and killed them in a few hours.) Alot of stress for soldiers who want to be
home with their own children. So please keep them in prayer, including the
chaplains who must bear the brunt of soldiers' stress as well as their own.
Paul
