Kathy,

when my youngest son, now 24, was 6 to 18 months, he had chronic ear
infections. Every three weeks we would take him to the doctor. It was
before we had insurance. Medication became more and more expensive each
time. They were threatening to put tubes in his ears and we didn't want
that. The only way he was happy, if you could call it that, was if you sat
and held him upright against your chest. When Sandy would go to work, I did
this hour after hour. I listened to the radio much of the time so Focus
became a very regular part of my life. By the way, eventually we took our
son to a Christian chiropractor, which I didn't believe could help, but
figured it was worth a try. When we came home and walked in the front door,
my son wiggled in my arms and wanted to get down. He picked up a toy and he
played all day and I never held him once. From then on, if he acted like
his ears bothered him, we took him in. Back then they only had low powered
ultrasound which stimulated better blood flow. Later he purchased expensive
low powered lasers which were nothing short of miraculous. Everett never
had another ear infection. But because of his problem for that year, Focus
on the Family became a daily part of my life. I never missed it.

Phil.
