We just moved and I went to the guy I was assigned to by the health insurance and we have 2 problems, a language barrier (although he seems to be a sweet guy) and he has no clue what to do with me. I had to interpret my labs for him as he's confused and thinks its not possible for an American to have rickets and I must have a parathyroid tumor. My labs say its rickets because of the low serum calcium, if it was high then I'd agree it was a tumor. My vit D level is very very low, pth is high and calcium is low and I have severe bone loss. What Dr do I need to see to start getting this treated?
