Hi Listmates.
I still owe you all a summary on my disability question and do plan
on putting it together- my apologies for the length of time it is
taking. I have a lot going on and there were a LOT of responses.
Forging on to another question. I went to a Rheumatologist last week
because I am fairly certain I have Sjogren's despite a previous
negative blood test (from 2 years ago). I have family history and
all of the symptoms. The Rheumy ordered blood tests- I asked that a
copy be sent to my home. I tried calling him and my PCP today - but
both offices were closed.
My Antinuclear Antibodies - under result it shows:
1:80 Homogeneous Pattern
below that it explains Homogeneous as :
Antigen Detected: DNA (ds,ss,), Histone
& Suggested Disease Association:
High titers- SLE
[I looked up SLE, this is Lupus]
below that on the lab test I show an abnormal for WBC- LOW
then in the Urine portion:
Occult Blood- Abnormal
Eptihelial Cells (non renal) Abnormal
and finally Vit D, 25 Hydroxy was Abnormal- LOW
If I understand this correctly, this lab test says I have Lupus. Can
anyone help me out with this?
Thanks,
Yvonne
