Hi everyone,
The list is officially moving to ICORS, the Education Center for Online
Resources and Services. The move will take place next week, the week of
January 9, or so they tell us list owners. I imagine there will be a
hopefully short period of transition where there may be some technical
problems relating to sending and receiving messages from the list. Rest
assured we will try to resolve these as quickly as possible. The email
address you should use to send email to the new list is
[log in to unmask] To send a message to the list owners (George
Bell or me), send email to [log in to unmask] For those
subscribers who have requested changes to their email addresses, I will be
changing those today. All current subscribers will maintain their
subscriptions when the list moves. We will be issuing an email with VICUG-L
policies and legal information (per ICORS requirements) at a later date.
Please accept our apologies in advance for any mishaps that may take place.
Both George and I are new to moderating this list, and it is obviously going
through a transition. We'll do our best to make the transition as smooth as
possible. Feel free to email me or George if you have any questions or need
to make a last-minute change to your email address for the new list. Happy
New Year.
Catherine Getchell
