I don't think the problem is your system but rather your operating
system. It sounds like you have a 64-bit version of Vista. You'll need a
32-bit version of Vista, which should run just fine on a 64-bit
processor. You might want to call them on Monday and see if they'll
reinstall a 32-bit version of Vista. Good luck!
