From his original message, it appears that he is not a RFB&D member nor does
he appear to have any interest in being so.  I am not surprised at RFB&D's
pricing though.

Yes Lynn, you've got that right. Of course, assuming that being able to read

RFB&D books is important to him, even with incurring the cost of shipping 
the unit to RFB&D for the user key installation, Bill's way ahead 
financially, although I can't imagine that RFB&D will be too happy to have 
their nose rubbed in the fact that he was able to acquire the unit directly 
from telex in the first place.
