Not sure what the all the "honeys" and "sweeties" are about? Is it possible for you to disagree without resorting to condescension? I don't think I've been rude to you at all to deserve your banter.
In any case, a precursor to a hormone is still not a hormone, the same way that flour is not cake. An over abundance of hormones can be an issue too.. just ask any parent to a teenager or a woman going through menopause.
Definitely hormones are an issue, but that does not mean that too much cholesterol production is a sign of good hormone balance.

Well, I politely beg to differ with you, honey. There are many hormones that are "precursors" to others, but they are hormones, nonetheless. And the insulin issue is also a hormone-based problem, as is estrogen. I am NOT arguing, just discussing. :) And this is probably OT for this list, so I will stop, although hormones SHOULD be an issue when discussing diet, since they drive and direct our whole body.
