They didn't overtly _support_ McKinney and Hendricks, but they said Matt
"got what he deserved."  There were placards saying "fags burn in Hell," and
worse.  The only overt tie to the LDS Church was that McKinney (if I
remember correctly; it may have been Henderson) was raised in an LDS
household, but had fallen away from the church when he moved out of the
house.  He was officially excommunicated after his conviction.
