Hi.
What would be really cool would be for someone to build up a talking
frequency display that could connect in where the old Kenwood DG5 digital
display used to connect.
I had the TS520S, and it was a really good and reliable radio. I remember
when I was working on my ham ticket, thinking that I wanted a Kenwood
TS520S more than anything. Ironically, I didn't get one until almost 10
years after I got my license. But I wasn't disappointed. It was a great
radio. I used it as a backup radio also, but it was always there when needed.
