Which access technology are you using?
In principle, go to:
My computer
C: (for example)
+++ go to the folder in question)
Ensure that it is highlighted
Press 'alt+enter'
This brings up the properties of that folder and its contents.
I can then only comment on JAWS, in which case you invoke the JAWS cursor,
and using the up arrow keys you will find the full size of the folder,
number of files and sub-folders.
