    Thanks for the clarification, Steve, and I think I'll e-mail him just to 
test the water.

Since I'm getting a TMV71A to replace the TMV7A that has died, there's no 
rush here.  If I do send the TMV7A in for repairs, it will be solely for the 
purpose of having a back-up rig on hand if needed--not a necessity, but just 
a nice idea.
