Hi Tom, it is good hearing from you too.  See John's post if you haven't,
but to do a VFO reset you hold the F key down as you are turning on the
radio and there are three settings.  Or you can go to menu 30 I think it
is and have the same settings and VFO may be the second one, but I'm not
sure.
