I have already bookmarked relevant sites, so am ready after next week.
(grins) After I read thru the Gordon West book (great reading too) I went
back and looked at all the links that were listed. The FCC site is among
the lucky ones I saved.

As to the environment at the convention, I will try to get the local
repeaters and save them. I go to Portland fairly often so it wont hurt to
do this. Am thinking I should have ordered a programming cable too. Hmmm.
I see them on eBay, and they come from China. Are they any good? Be about
$20 with shipping. (back to reading the manual)
