that's my thought process too, right down the line. Really,other than maybe 
the 1.2 gig module, what I see on the used market, none of the options in 
most radios like speech chips, and filters or recorders, are worth much more 
on the price. It almost makes more sense to pull them and sell those 
separate if you're going to. In fact I've made out a lot better that way a 
few times.
