Actually, as it stands, if you passed the general theory and the CSCE is
still good, when it goes in to effect, all the person has to do is take that
CSCE in to a test session, pay a small fee and they're upgraded. I ran a
test session last month in fact about a week after that was announced and
had to explain it to some one because 1 of the guys that passed his tech
passed the general theory too. I don't know how out in the open that info
is, I'm a VE so I get VE updates now and then and that was 1 of them.
