The Joint AAM/AWA Picnic

-- TELL EVERY AFRICAN OR FRIEND OF AFRICA YOU KNOW --

The African Association of Madison, Inc (AAM), in
conjunction with the African Women’s Association (AWA)
will host the first ever Joint AAM/AWA summer picnic
in the Madison area.

Saturday, July 16, 2005
Marshall Park in Middleton on the shores of beautiful
Lake Mendota
The Park is reserved for THE BIG GIG from 10:00 AM to
10:00 PM

Marshall Park is lushly landscaped with ample seating
under shaded pavilions.  Great potluck food will of
course be available.

A wide variety of picnic activities and other
traditional picnic-style games ranging from
volleyball, basketball, soccer and badminton are in
the planning stages.  Traditional drumming, singing
and dancing is guaranteed.
