Hi folks:
I have received a couple of files with the suffix .dat
Can anybody tell me what this suffix means, what kind of file it is likely
to be and whether it is likely to be safe to open it? Windows XP gives me a
cautionary message when i try to open it, saying that it is a file used by
the operating system and opening it could compromise my computer.
Any advice please.
Thanks.
DOREEN YALE.
