Seems to be a direct translation from the French term "Fruits de Bois" usually meaning a mix of [preferably wild berries, hence the 'forest'] blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and sometimes wild strawberries and or blackcurrants.

Subject: [PALEOFOOD] "Forest berry"
I was looking at a herbal tea the other day and was about to buy it when I
saw that the ingredients included "forest berry flavour". I have never heard
of a "forest berry" and was wondering if it was a manufacturer's name for an
artificial flavour.
I looked on Wikipedia and there is no entry there for "Forest berry" and
this made me think my suspicion may be correct.
Has any one heard of a berry plant known as the "forest berry"?
Can you post an authoritative link which will help me settle this query?
