Conversion of test to estradiol certainly occurs with the injectables -
among the dozen and a half performance enhancing substances used in pro
sports is included things like Arimidex, an anti-aratomization drug
specifically blocking test conversion in the liver's p450 cycle. Estradiol
blockers are also used. Compared to the 100 mg dosing used for low test
weekly, those athletes are likely taking 1,000 mg/weekly, and stacking it
with high anabolic nortest as well. The patches and creams are likely to
convert more easily. Low test is very common among men who've had
vasectomies.
LEF seems content to ignore bio-identical, natural test. It's still safest.
Most importantly, put a demand on your endocrines so that test is being
used. An hour of high EPOC weight training three-six times a week will
restore your manliness.

On the [log in to unmask] email list which has about 2500+
mostly men with low testosterone, it is reported that higher levels of
estradiol promote prostate enlargement and getting that under control
reduces the problem. For them, the problem is that some testosterone
gets converted to estradiol, especially if testosterone replacement uses
patches or creams - less so with injections. The life extension
foundation, while not mentioning prostate issues specifically, notes
after a review of almost all the literature on estradiol that estradiol
is best in men when it is within the 20-30 ng/ml range. Lower and
higher than that leads to a greater incidence of stroke, heart problems,
bone thinning and other issues. The lab reference range goes from 0 to
50 or so. Additionally, having high or low estradiol (or lot
testosterone) leads to ED, depression, anxiety, lethargy, low motivation
and a whole host of other problems that one's doctor is prone to
prescribe a wide range or drugs instead of testosterone replacement and
something to prevent T to estradiol conversions.
I don't believe that I've seen any evidence that the paleo diet
increases testosterone levels. For those of us interested in life
extension, T replacement is the best option.
Vitamin D3 is particularly important for prostate health and the higher
ones blood serum levels, the lower the chance of prostate problems
including cancer.
