I just spoke with Brenda Macaluso at Reiley Foods regarding their La
Martinique Original Poppy Seed Dressing. The label indicates the use of
"fermented vinegar", so we didn't want to eat it until we determined the
source.
Brenda told me that the source for the vinegar is corn and that the product
is gluten free. She said they are working to improve their labels to be
clearer. They have been fielding many calls about the GF status.
She was very kind and helpful. If another question pops up about La
Martinique, she can be reached at 800-535-1961, ext. 2242.
