GF foods and restaurants in San Antonio and Austin, Texas

The Alamo Celiac support group serves both Austin and San Antonio. Go to their WEB site www.alamoceliac.org and click on Defensive Dining; you will get a listing of restaurants in both cities that have been visited and reviewed by a Defensive Dining reviewer; the site are listed by different areas of the city with maps and names of restaurants. The site has a link to places where gluten free foods are available.

They also have a site for "Dining in Austin".  It has interactive sites where people can spend a few minutes letting the group know about their dining experiences. These are not formal reviews; but give a person a good sense of places that are celiac friendly.
