Hi Brett.

If you are going to have a problem with this antenna, it will be with 40 
meters.  That is where the tuning gets touchy if there is metal around.  My 
question to you is with that much metal under the antenna, why not go with 
something that actually likes to see lots of metal under it like a 
Butternut?  The GAP is what people do when they are trying to get away from 
a ground plane or radials, but in this instance, if you've got a large 
metal roof under the antenna, maybe you should look at something that 
actually likes to sit above a large metal surface.  Just a thought.
