Hi.

I think a certain amount of that learning curve goes with not having the 
luxury to stare at the front panel.  I've noticed that it is distinctly 
harder for me to learn a radio, or remember how to use a radio that I 
haven't operated for a while than it used to be before my vision went and I 
could just look at the radio and generally figure things out from the 
labeling of the buttons.  To be honest, I think that has had more of an 
impact on me than my age, although I'm not that old--turned 47 in January.
