The default formats for Office 2007 files are XML.  Users of 2007 can still
save a Word file in the .doc format, but that's not the default.  Also,
Microsoft makes an add-in for Office 2003 so that it can read and save the
2007 formats.  So you do have some options.  But I think you will want to
get with the program and get JAWS working with the new program.
