CDEX is one of the programs that I was talking about. It is a good program
and it is reasonably JAWS friendly, albeit it talks a bit too much while it
is ripping. I wrote a little script to take care of that as follows:
Script ToggleSpeech () ; Uses JAWS KEY+GRAVE ACCENT
If IsSpeechOn () then
SpeechOff ()
Else SpeechOn ()
Endif
EndScript
This little gem makes is so I can toggle speech quickly at will. You can
either stick it in the DEFAULT.JSS file where all programs can get to it or
create a CDEX.JSS file to do it.
If it goes into DEFAULT.JSS, it might be handy for a few of the ham
programs that get kind of chatty too.
