I have been eyeing mobile dual and triband radios but it seems to me what kenwood had for 2/440 and 2/440/6 are quickly fading away, on hamradio.com at least.  are the alinko and/or icom radios workable and if so, which ones, and preferably one that won't self distruct <smile>
I guess i am curious to work 6m and or 440 being i never have so I don't even know if protocol on those bands are different than 2m or not
