I have one of those USB adapters as well, with stereo RCA inputs and outputs.
It actually was included with a behrenger mixer that I bought. Works very
well, although, it does take control of your computers sound properties, unless
you have settings to use both your onboard/PCI sound card and the USB sound
card for different things. I would set up jaws and all other windows sounds on
the onboard/PCI sound card and all wav in and out on the USB device which
essentially acts as an external sound card.
