Does anyone have information on the effects of Celiac Disease on endurance
athletes and/or how serious athletes can better deal with the disease
(without curtailing activity)?
Specifically,
What are the effects of the disease on heart rates and recovery?
Do runners with celiac disease have a more of a problem with runners' trots?
Which sport bars (e.g. Power Bar, Clif Bar, ...) and sport drinks (e.g.
Cytomax, Gatorade, Metabalol, ...) are safe/recommended for celiacs?
How do celiac athletes deal with the need for a high calorie, easily
accessible diet (especially carbohydrates) and the lack of time to prepare
special GF meals at home?
