Hello Folks!
Hope everyone is having a fun, safe and healthy gluten-free holiday season!
I wanted to share an experience I had yesterday, while preparing what I
thought was a gluten-free lunch.
I have been a Prego user since being diagnosed almost three years ago, and
have never had an issue. So, upon dumping the sauce onto my rice noodles
yesterday, I was dismayed when what looked like a tortellini/ravioli noodle
flop out on top of my carefully prepared gluten-free noodles. Closer
inspection showed that this was indeed a stuffed noodle shell of sorts...
and although due to the holidays, I have not been able to speak to Prego, I
plan to in the morning.
But in the meantime, I guess my concerns about mass produced foods have been
shown an honest issue of sorts. A noodle in the sauce may not be a big deal
for most folks, perhaps just a minor inconvenience, but for me, it meant
throwing out 6 bucks in sauce and going without my meal.
You might want to keep a close eye on your Prego sauces in the future? Just
wanted to give you all a heads up.
