I have been reading the vitamin D articles and have recently been given
a prescription for the Pliva brand (GF) 50,000IU
The Walgreens medical insert said in big letters NOT TO USE WITH
PRODUCTS CONTAINING MAGNESIUM.
Well, I have reflux and take 2 Aciphex daily (inactive ingredient
Magnesium) and when I have any stomach, gas, heartburn etc. issues I
use the only thing that helps- Gaviscon (GF)- which has the ACTIVE
ingredient Magnesium.
I have spoken to Walgreens, the manufacturers of both Gaviscon and
Aciphex and have not gotten anywhere.
Any of you use these products while on Vitamin D? Any rhoughts?
Thanks, GPierce
