Dr Jaiteh
What a caution and wise advice. The blame factor will continue to entrench Yaya Jammeh's dictatorial rule. We all have seen more than 24 amendment of the constitution which have already muscle parliamentary democracy into autocratic rule with abosulute power. We have seen how the rubber stamp parliament perform recently. Gambia need electoral reform as the current system is fraudulent. I hope the coalition for regime change and NADD will ralise that boycotting the election will not be help to restore functional parliamentary democracy.

this opposition debate. With that said it looks like this debate between
the two camps about the "should have", "could have", "would have" is
slowly turning into the war between the people of Lillitput and Blefuscu
over the correct way of eating a boiled egg (Gullivers travel).
Little do you realise that the boiled egg in question, the Presidency of
the Gambia for the next 5 years is eaten by Mr. Jammeh. And until the
two camps want to become perpectual Little Endians and Big Endians I say
it is time to ask your leaders to bury their hatchets and go back to
negotiation table else come January (National Assembly elections) they
will all be out of job for the next 5 years!
