Hi. In December I started itching, and the only treatment that has helped at all is prednisone, which I cannot use long-term. Every blood test came back normal, including all the celiac screenings. But I do have one of the celiac genes, and my son has CD. In addition, I have had several biopsies on the rash, and DH does not show up.
Could this still be CD? Does anyone have any experience with this? If I tried a gf diet, how long would it take for me to stop itching if it actually is a form of gluten intolerance?
Thanks! I am at the point where I am willing to try anything! (My doctors are sure it is not food related...)Nancy
