I have a 900mhz HP celeron with WIN98SE that will not support a Sandisk usb drive - drivers won't install and/or the computer freezes.

Hello All,
While I don't know what's the root cause of the problems Paul's experienced with SanDisk USB drives under Windows 98 SE, I've never had any problem using a SanDisk Pocket USB Drive (Non-U3 models) using the following driver available direct from SanDisk at http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1092 & http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/USBFlashDrives/cruzer_family/Cruzer_Family_98SE.zip.
Please note that you only need this driver for Win98 SE -- WinMe, W2K & WinXP all provide native support.
Just my two cents worth. HTH someone. I am,
Very truly yours,
Jeffrey Ottie
