Calories have very little to do
with one's weight.
In a study of 125,000 women
for 25 years,
a Harvard study found
that overweight women
consume fewer calories
than thin ones.
All low-calorie
weight loss programs
now have the disclaimer
"Results Not Typical"
as a result of an FTC lawsuit.
Turns out
that the average person
who reduces calories
gains 15% of body mass
within two years.
Exercise
has also been shown
in numerous studies
to have no effect on weight.
Simple thermodynamics
does not predict results
in complex chaotic systems.
That's why
Benoit Mandlebrot
( aka Slartibartfast)
invented Fractal Geometry.
