I love steak. But have it every day for a month or two and it gets
boring. Sure, I can spice it up differently, but without adding some
vegetables, fruit, or nuts, there are only so many days I can eat it
before I start saying "Steak, again?".

In our culture, food is not just fuel. But regardless of that, it doesn't
change the fact that *for me* a diet of zero carb becomes too monotonous
pretty quickly.

I wasn't talking about low carb (LC), I was talking about zero carb (ZC).
There are plenty of things you can add to your plate other than meat and
still be low carb. I can eat low carb indefinitely without boredom, it's
just zero carb that's a problem.
