OK, I hear ya loud and clear, my dear William, and I'm sorry if I gave you the flash to kill, hehehe.  Mea culpa.  I will refrain from that from here on out!!  I will take this under serious advisement, I will!!  As you know, I've been hanging around in here for years, but I am by no means paleo in any kind of form except that I eat tons of animal fat, lol.  But in my own defense (not against you, you said nothing towards me in that way!!), I am not a processed food eater, mostly, it's just those little comfort carbs along the way.  (Which shall remain nameless in the interest of keeping you from committing murder and mayhem.)  I will address my brain about this and see what the two of us can comfortably come up with!!  Luckily, hubby wouldn't even BLINK if I cut out carbs...that buttmunch could live on meat, raw veggies and popcorn, for real, so at least I won't have THAT hurdle.  Just my own brain hurdle.  But that's OK, I will have a talk
with "her" and see what we can work out!!

And lest anyone point out that carbs ARE processed food...I DO know that!!  I guess I thought I was a "cut above the rest" because I don't buy things in boxes, so to speak, lol.  Ah well.  Just a disclaimer there.

Love,
Bren

I've been trying to train myself to never eat any of the things I used to love, because they are proven (on myself, by me) to do harm, so when anyone mentions something I really enjoyed it is like torture and I get a flash of the urge to kill.

The zero carb/pemmican are like two sides of the same thing, so from the results it looks like we are actually obligate carnivores (I know you recognize the phrase because I used to be on a raw cat list).
Carbohydrates are poison to the high fat eater, supported by a study from 2001 which showed that those who eat more than 37% or 50% (I forget) become more sensitive to high blood sugar; I think that that was what caused the stroke.

So yes, you will have to give up all the comfort poisons. The good part is that there will be no craving (fat satisfies) so you won't miss them until you read on the internet a mention of  chocolate eclair or mother's peach pie or the world's best spaghetti sauce & wine, or ... sorry about that. ;)

William
