I have been away, so am just now answering ..
I began to develop bunions after I was eating paleo - not before.
I was a severe pronator as a child and wore corrective shoes also - gave
them up in my late teens when I put fashion first ;)
As long as I wear a relatively flat and wide shoe I have no pain, and I
think the progression has been very slow.
I ate SAD until I was 43. Then, LC for two years, progressing to paleo ever
since. My mother's and grandmother's nutrition was very poor. They were
very poor and ate very few fresh fruits, veggies, good meats.
