Thanks for the welcome back. I thought I sent this the other day but found
it in my outbox :) Kathy asked about an account of my absence.
Well? It is pretty short really. Mostly I've focused on music. Since I'm
over 40 by a pinch of years, I can't remember what I was up to when I took
the E sabbatical from the list :). I'm working on getting my web site full
of needed stuff. If you care to peak it is at

http://www.braddunsemusic.com

Feel free to sign the guest book with good bad or indifferent feedback
greeting or even ignore it if you wish, you can join a newsletter there to
see what is going on from time to time. I still need to put up some photos,
I have a handful of songs up there you can look at lyrics and or stream in
for a listen to, and I've got a number more I need to record and put up.
They aren't full blown recordings, more of just the guitar-vocal way I
wrote 'em kind of thing but that is a work in progress. Some Christian
tunes, some just regular tunes. As I might have mentioned before, my aim is
to enter the secular venues and mix in Christian values in songs and etc.
as oppose to preaching to the choir, or fish in the live well, as it were.
For folks to listen and come to gigs, coffee houses and etc where I play.
there needs to be a mix of neutral secularish and that which has Christian
values and message. Anyway so I've been writing, web siting, playing some
local song circle things, got a paying gig at a farmer's market wow, it
might even pay for the gas getting there lol... big time now I tell ya
hahaha. Things are doing pretty well. I'm in my slow time of year and
focusing more on guitar work and writing. I figured some might ask about
my nephew but honestly I don't KNOW> My parents have tried to call at his
mom's place where he lives but no one ever returns their call. I
purposefully laid back as I was calling pretty regular and wanted to give
him opportunity to call but I'll probably have to ring him up here soon. As
far as I know he is doing OK. He and his girlfriend broke up as you might
recall. Not too much to report really other than the above. Good to be
back on list though and I see a few new folks are on which is always cool,
so we'll welcome each other:).
