Well, it is Sunday and we went to see John and Vicki and to pick up some dog
food along the way to drop off to them. Vicki is feeding John dog food now
to cut back on living expenses. He is doing well, can't drive for at least
another week, can't go back to work for another month, and is having some
other tests conducted next week. One for sure is to see if he is diabetic
or not. So he is doing pretty well. He's not to climb stairs or get too
carried away doing much of anything for a couple of weeks so I reckon he
likely won't be playing any golf like he did after having the heart attack.
Talk about dedication. Of course, he didn't know he had experienced a heart
attack when he played a round of golf but maybe next time, when he is in
that much pain, he'll realize something could be wrong. Don't forget about
Vicki either. Having all this company, phone calls, doctors appointments,
and not having any more time off work isn't anything less than stressful on
her, too. She has to go back to work Monday so pray for her. I wouldn't
want to be leaving my wife alone while I went to work after she just had a
heart attack. Besides, that hospital duty she experienced was no picnic
either.

Phil.
